Team

The people behind the businesses

A husband-and-wife team and a shared back office. The same finance, compliance, and administration group supports every company at once — which is how businesses this size get infrastructure they could not otherwise justify.

Founders

Ryan and Sunshine Fister

One technical, one financial. They founded RSI Capital together and built everything else from there.

Ryan Fister

Founder

Ryan is a software engineering leader and the technical half of the partnership. He works as a Director of Software Engineering for a Silicon Valley technology company, where he builds mobile applications and the backend infrastructure behind them, and he leads the engineering teams that ship them.

Across the businesses, Ryan handles acquisitions, systems, and the tooling the operating companies run on. Where most businesses of this size buy software per seat, he builds it — the scheduling, billing, and reporting systems inside the property and facilities companies are developed in house, which keeps costs flat as headcount grows.

He co-founded RSI Capital LLC with Sunshine, the rental and hospitality business the rest of the group grew out of.

Sunshine FisterCIA, CFE, FCPA, CISA®, CMCA®

Founder

Sunshine brings more than 20 years in risk management, internal controls, compliance, fraud investigation, and financial operations. Her career includes roles with Ernst & Young, Uber, U.S. Bank, Transamerica, and UnitedHealth Group, spanning organizations from pre-IPO start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.

She runs finance, controls, and compliance across the businesses — association accounting, reporting, payroll, corporate compliance, and the internal-control structure underneath all of it. Her approach is risk-based and unsentimental: understand where the money and the exposure actually sit, then build the process that holds.

That discipline is the reason these businesses can be diligenced. Books are kept to a standard that survives outside scrutiny, and controls are designed in at the start rather than retrofitted after something goes wrong.

Karen Amor

Karen Amor

Finance and Accounting

Karen has over 10 years of experience across administrative support, customer management, sales, and financial operations.

Her focus is accounts receivable in the property management industry — HOA billing across multiple properties, invoicing accuracy, reconciling accounts, monitoring outstanding balances, and running the follow-up that keeps cash flow healthy and delinquencies low. Her earlier work as a Cash Management Supervisor built the payables and receivables reconciliation depth she draws on now.

She works efficiently with minimal supervision and consistently meets deadlines, and has been promoted twice in recognition of process improvements she initiated.
